Testimonials from Partner Veterinary Hospitals

Dr. Katsuyuki Mizuguchi
Mikumari Animal Hospital
I got my first dog when I was in elementary school.
Through living with my dog, I developed a desire to help and heal animals someday, and I decided to become a veterinarian.
Working as a veterinarian, I realized that my job is not only to treat animals, but also to be involved in a wide range of animal "lives" such as prevention, training, and food, and I find it very rewarding.
As a "veterinarian in town" that people remember when something happens, I hope to support you and your pets in your precious time together with my staff, while updating my knowledge in a wide range of fields, without limiting the scope of my practice.
Since opening the clinic, I have also been interested in it as a pet owner and have been purchasing information on various homemade diets.
I have been thinking of adopting them when necessary, but I have to admit that many of them overly anthropomorphize animals and appeal to our emotions, leaving the most important things, such as nutritional balance and transparency, on the back burner.
It was in this environment that I was very encouraged to learn of the launch of BuddyFOOD, which was developed to face these issues head-on. At our clinic, we always set aside time at the first meeting to confirm the owner's thoughts and perceptions about homemade food before making a proposal.
Please feel free to consult with us.
